Besides restoring cars, I've also renovated my own home, doing many tasks myself but also choosing contractors for others. In the latter case of course closely managing the work progress and delivery quality. This included building a detached garage (2021), replacing the window frames with PVC frames and triple glazing (2022), and a full renovation of the attic (2023). Solar panels and air-conditioning systems have also been installed. The house has also been fully insulated, improving its energy label from C to A++.
